There`s nothing wrong with having a little fun with your background at an event – just try to stay away from anything that might be controversial. While an after-hours event can be much more casual than a business meeting, you still want to use your best judgment and choose a background that is in no way offensive. We`ve practically been living on Zoom for over a year, and video conferencing doesn`t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Making a good impression on video calls is crucial, right down to what`s in your background. Whether it`s for a legal interview, networking event, law class, business meeting, or happy hour with colleagues or classmates, using a Zoom background can provide a professional presentation while protecting your privacy at home and hiding clutter.
