She is an avid supporter of the mighty Western Bulldogs. Madeleine joined Gordon Legal as a paralegal while completing her Doctor of Laws at the University of Melbourne. During her career as a paralegal, she has worked on a number of class actions, including the Robodebt Class Action Lawsuit, the Box Hill Student Pilot Class Action and the Business Interruption Insurance Class Action Lawsuit. Madeleine currently works in the class action and commercial law teams. While in law school, Madeleine volunteered at the Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre and articled at the Victorian Ombudsman and Human Rights Law Centre in Delhi, India. Prior to law school, Madeleine received a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) from RMIT University.

Daina joined Gordon Legal in 2021 while completing her practical legal training, the final studies before being admitted to practice. Daina has now taken on the role of lawyer. During her time at Gordon Legal, Daina gained experience in litigation, class actions and commercial law. Daina is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for clients, both on a small scale and through class actions. Daina earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Dual Bachelor of Arts and worked at a boutique law firm in South Yarra and a communications agency as a PR Account Coordinator during her studies. Valérie is an experienced member of our team, working primarily in estate litigation, estate administration and estate planning. She represents plaintiffs and defendants in Part IV support claims before the County Court and the Supreme Court. Helping clients with their will and estate planning means it also provides solid advice on when a will can be challenged. Valérie provides legal advice on wills, estate applications, comfort letters and estate administration. Valerie also practised in the Australian Capital Territory, where she worked exclusively in wills and estates for ACT and New South Wales. Mitchell works exclusively in the area of family law.

He has extensive experience in handling parental and financial disputes. Mitchell approaches his cases with the goal of solving problems by understanding that each client has a unique set of circumstances. Mitchell works closely with clients throughout the legal process to find reasonable and practical solutions. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Gordon has experience conducting settlement conferences, drafting marriage settlement agreements, parenting agreements, and pre- and post-nuptal agreements. In addition, he is an experienced appellate lawyer who has conducted numerous family law cases before the Court of Appeal. In 2011, Mitchell received the inaugural IICLE Rising Star Award. He received this honor because of his commitment to improving the legal profession throughout the state. Mr. Gordon is co-host of the popular television show Let`s Talk Justice! on Chicago`s CAN-TV network.

On the show, he discusses countless legal issues of public interest while answering live phone calls. Mitchell also appears as a legal commentator on NBC, Fox and other local news networks. Renzo joined Gordon Legal as a paralegal while completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne. During this time, Renzo gained experience in a number of class actions, including the Box Hill Student Pilot class action lawsuit, underpayment claims on behalf of residents, and the Robodebt class action lawsuit. Renzo accepted a position as a lawyer in November 2021 and was called to the Bar on August 23, 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Renzo worked as a research assistant to a lawyer and articling student at Refugee Legal. Prior to obtaining his Doctor of Laws, Renzo completed a Bachelor of Arts (Law and Society, English and Culture) at the University of Western Australia. Robert joined Gordon Legal as a paralegal while studying law and gained experience in personal injury law, workers` compensation and asbestos litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Robert worked in a migration company and volunteered with several community organizations, including the Darebin Community Legal Centre, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Basketball Victoria, and was a member of the tribunal.

Robert recently graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Victoria University and is now a law graduate. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Robert obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Major in Psychology) from the University of Melbourne. Guy joined Gordon Legal as a paralegal during his studies and is now a lawyer on Gordon Legal`s class action team after a year as a graduate during practical legal training. Guy has been involved in several class action lawsuits conducted by Gordon Legal in various areas, including the « Robodebt class action », underpayment claims on behalf of physicians in training, and proceedings against insurers in connection with non-payment of business interruption insurance. Guy is passionate about prosecuting complex and extensive claims through class actions. In addition to his experience in law firms, Guy has worked in the public sector and human rights, including the Australian Human Rights Commission and the Victorian Department of Education. Prior to completing a Juris Doctor at Monash University, Guy completed a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) at RMIT University. Liam joined Gordon Legal as a paralegal during his studies and now works as a class action lawyer on the class action team. Liam has been involved in several class action lawsuits, such as the Robodebt Class Action and the Business Interruption Insurance Class Action Lawsuit. Liam also works in the commercial law practice of Gordon Legal. Prior to joining Gordon Legal, Liam worked for a leading migration law firm as a Senior Paralegal. Liam has a passion for human rights and volunteers with community organizations such as Liberty Victoria`s Rights Advocacy Project.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Victoria University. Patrick Gordon is an experienced lawyer who now specializes in criminal defense at Gordon Legal. Between 2017 and 2022, Patrick was a lawyer with the Victorian Bar Association with a busy criminal law firm. During this period, he appeared regularly in: ¢ controversial hearings and inspections before the Magistrates` Court and the Children`s Court; ¢ appeals against conviction and conviction to the County Court; ¢ pleadings in all kinds of offences (violence, drugs, sexual offences, complex fraud); ¢ bail applications; ¢ mandatory reviews in IBAC; challenged intervention order procedures; ¢ sports disciplinary procedures. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Patrick worked for several years as an attorney in a number of jurisdictions, including several large class actions. Between 2009 and 2013, he worked at Gordon Legal on the landmark thalidomide class action lawsuit in the Supreme Court of Victoria. He has also worked as a criminal defence lawyer for a large criminal defence firm, appeared before every Victorian court and taught lawyers in several criminal trials. He received a Bachelor of Laws from Latrobe University in 2009 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2010.
